Sessional Lecturer in Uniformed Public Services
£24.95 per hour (£20.56 Basic + £4.39 holiday pay)
£35.42 per hour (£29.18 Basic + £6.24 holiday pay)
We are looking to recruit a lecturer to join our Uniformed Public services department. Experience of working in uniformed public services is essential. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate current and up-to-date industry knowledge. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and a drive to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in the classroom.
You will have:
• A teaching qualification with a minimum of 2 years teaching up to Level 3
• A relevant vocations qualification to Level 3 along with a minimum of three years relevant industry experience is essential
• An assessor qualification would be desirable
Candidates without formal teaching qualifications or limited teaching experience are encouraged to apply if; they have relevant industry background, they can demonstrate excellent up to date knowledge of the uniformed public services and able to demonstrate outstanding teaching through an assessed micro teach. There will be a requirement to work towards teaching qualifications during employment (some financial assistance may be available).
