Course Director in Engineering
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£33,025 to £41,041 per annum
We are looking for a Course Director in Engineering with a mechanical specialism to join our enthusiastic colleagues. Working in our Engineering department, you will deliver inclusive, responsive and innovative support to learners. The main responsibility of the role is to provide co-ordination and course tutorship for the Engineering Department’s extensive Apprenticeship, Part time and Higher Level programmes. You will have the ability to deliver the curriculum creatively with strong independent organisational skills. It would also be beneficial to have experience of blended or distance learning study. You will also have administrative responsibilities requiring the tracking, monitoring and recording of learners work and progress. There will be a substantial marking commitment.
You will have at least a Level 5 qualification as well as a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching up to and including Level 5. As an experienced teacher, you will be flexible and preferably be familiar with the current issues and challenges within FE. You would be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success.
