Holme Grange is a successful, traditional Independent School with waiting lists in most year groups. Having very successfully extended our School’s excellent provision to teach to GCSE back in 2015, the School is thriving and Eaton Grange – our Senior School - currently operates a 3 form entry at Year 7.
Our new Eaton Grange building boasts a wonderful modern library, while other developments in recent years have seen the opening of a new 300 seated theatre - an outstanding resource, which incorporates our music and drama teaching facilities. We have innovative, forward thinking staff with an understanding of how children learn.
We are seeking to employ an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic Head of English who will demonstrate excellence in teaching, leading and developing a thriving English Department at this successful school.
The successful applicant will be an exemplary practitioner with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills and a strong interest in pastoral care. Our teachers set high standards for themselves and their pupils. If you are dedicated and energetic, we offer a delightful working environment, which is well resourced. Professional development opportunities are available and encouraged.
A willingness to play a full part in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of our happy and vibrant school is essential. Holme Grange has its own salary scale.
