Manor Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic educator to work as a Teaching Assistant on a one to one basis supporting children with special educational needs.
Our Teaching Assistants play a positive part in the education and social development of children, supporting them to access the curriculum. Under the guidance and direction of the SENCo and class teacher, you will be supporting a child with special needs on a one to one basis in delivering a package of support which will be highly personalised to the needs of the child.
We are looking for someone with patience, dedication and flexibility alongside a commitment to personal development and to attend formal training as required. You must be a good communicator with high expectations and a real empathy with children. Experience of working with early years and/or primary aged children with special needs is desirable.

Manor Primary School is a popular 2 form entry school and the oldest school in Didcot, with the infants still being housed in our historic Victorian building. We joined the GLF Schools Multi Academy Trust in May 2019 to strengthen & broaden the teaching and learning opportunities for all. We continue to develop our highly creative curriculum and growth mind-set pedagogy.

Salary: GLF Support Staff Grade (G3/4) £17,322 - £20,523 FTE (pro-rata £12,458 - £14,760)
Hours: 30 hours per week, 8.30am – 3pm Monday to Friday (term time only + inset days)
