We are seeking candidates to work with our Super Curricular Department. This department specialises in providing students with opportunities that do not fall within the curriculum. The Super Curricular Team prepare students for life at university and beyond. These roles often suit teachers who do not have a full teaching timetable but who wish to work with us full-time – they may choose a position that allows them to teach for a percentage of the time and to work in the Super Curricular Department for the rest of the time. The positions available vary but we regularly have vacancies for both managers and administrators.

Post Summary

The Super Curricular Department plans and executes a varied and engaging programme of super curriculum activities that guides students towards appropriate university and career choices and ultimately facilitates successful applications to the world’s top universities.

The Super Curricular Department works closely with the Chief Education Officer and the Director of Studies.

The Opportunity

Oxford International College has a reputation for exceptional A-Level results and is regularly described in Independent Schools Inspectorate reports as “outstanding”.

This is therefore an opportunity to work with highly ambitious and talented students, helping them gain entry to the world’s leading universities and play a pivotal role in their academic and future success.

The Person

The successful candidate will be committed to supporting students and helping them succeed and fulfil their ambitions.

It is essential that you have a good knowledge of the UCAS system – probably from first-hand experience of gaining entry to a top UK university.

You will also want to develop your own knowledge and gain an understanding of the entry requirements and admissions processes of international universities as some of our students go on to tertiary education overseas.

As part of a small super curricular team you will have a collaborative approach and be able to build relationships across the college particularly with tutors and mentors.

Safeguarding Statement:
