The King Alfred School - an Academy is a thriving 11-18 mixed comprehensive with 1218 students on roll serving the towns of Burnham on Sea and Highbridge.

The following vacancy exists:


Permanent position, full time, working 32.43 hours per week.

We require from September 2020, a suitably qualified and passionate teacher of English. We are looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic and energetic teacher. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with a clear vision of how they can inspire students, helping them reach their potential in English.

The successful candidate will be a good team player, innovative and able to teach KS3-KS4. The post would suit NQT applicants, and those with experience of teaching humanities or languages are also encouraged to apply.
