We are a successful and growing school, which is currently going through a period of expansion. In order to support our continued growth we are looking to expand our team of creative, supportive and dynamic staff by appointing an inspirational English Teacher.

As we go through this exciting period of growth and currently looking to expand our talented teaching team by appointing a Teacher of English to start at The Portsmouth Academy from September 2020.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Be a qualified English Teacher

• Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum

• Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to English

• Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject

• Be able to motivate his/her students

• Be committed to high standards for both staff and students

• Be prepared to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the Academy

• Have excellent knowledge/experience of teaching English
